Nathdwara is located in the aravali hills on the banks of Banas River, 48 km from Udaipur. Nathdwara is well known for its ancient Temple of Krishna. It is also known as ‘Haveli of Shrinathji‘ and is a significant pilgrimage of Hindus and Vaishnava.
Every year, people of Vaishnava community come in large numbers to visit this holy pilgrimage. Although, all the festivals are celebrated throughout the year but Holi, Diwali and Janmashtmi are considered most prominent amongst them. Apart from the temple, the place is also famous for its ‘Pichhwai’ paintings, ivory articles and its food.
Nathdwara is a small town but to freak out,you can also visit at some of the famous spots like Lalbaug, Giriraj Parikrama, Shrinath Gaushala, Bhool Bhulaiya (Vrindavan bag) and Ganesh Tekari.
